The Noiseborder Ensemble was founded in 2008 by a group of professional musicians and artists interested in the intersection of sound, image and technology. Noiseborder Ensemble performances draw on diverse musical traditions including chamber music, experimental music, popular musics, multimedia performance, electronica and improvisation. Current ensemble members include Brent Lee (saxophones, keyboards, electronics), Chris McNamara (electronics), Nick Papador (percussion, keyboards), Trevor Pittman (clarinets), and Sigi Torinus (visuals).

2010.11.29: A performance of a new work-in-progress for solo percussion, live video mixing, and live audio remixing.

Thrum
2011.02.24: After the success of our collaboration with Germany's Blackhole Factory during an intensive residency in March 2010, we have invited pianist, composer and media artist Jaroslaw Kapuscinski to join us for a similar residency in February 2011. We will develop a new project with the working title of Thrum, and will present it in Studio A on Febraury 24.
